Tree Street Residence

Bunbury, 2012

Modern in design and material selection, the home’s new design now proudly greets the leafy streetscape. Beneath its unusually curved roof crafted of Colorbond sheeting, a selection of contemporary materials clad the home, including James Hardie Sycon Matrix and Colorbond Custom Orb, Boral Classique Limestone split face blocks apply a natural, rugged finish to the home’s blade walls. As well as applying a timeless aesthetic, these materials are also extremely low maintenance.

Passage through the house is open and easy, as one is lead past the lounge room and into the spacious dining and kitchen areas that now occupy the original structure. The  modern kitchen is a home chef’s paradise, with a suite of stainless steel appliances and plenty of storage space.

Gelorup Residence

Gelorup, 2016

The house is built in a previously cleared portion of an elevated bush block where the house engages with it’s setting by maintaining a bush ‘buffer’ between the house and the ‘outside’ world. The materials sourced were selected to ‘grow’ out of the hill with a mixture of rammed earth, locally sourced Donnybrook stone (sculpted on-site by the stone mason), steel and cedar weatherboards.

Marlston Coastal House

Bunbury, 2002

With its spacious interior and delightful views the clients are pleased with their beach house. Large in design, this two-storey home is very spacious and functional with all living and working areas on the ground floor and private areas on the upper floor. The angular design of the home creates unique spaces within the interior as features for ocean view showers and unique storage areas. A single staircase is centred in the house with large floor to ceiling windows at either end to give a never ending feel and bringing the outdoors indoors.
