Stirling Street Arts Centre

Bunbury, 2020

The design of the Stirling Street Arts Centre sought to compliment the existing buildings on site rather than imitate, while still presenting itself as an iconic form within the highly visible public space. A custom fabricated perforated metal screen sits atop a modest base building of red brick, black steel and glass.

Collie Art Gallery

Collie, 2015

Rammed earth walls of local red dirt topped with traditional metal sheet cladding links this cultural project to the local, regional vernacular. 

Hay Park Sport Pavilion

Bunbury, 2015

Two symmetrical pavilions flank a central spectator stand in this durable yet attractive project. Externally, raked timber eaves float above glazed blue bricks, materials which are also reflected internally. 

Lotteries House

Bunbury, 2018

This 1896 heritage building was painstakingly restored to its original condition. The conservation works involved brick tuck-pointing, structural repairs and extensive internal refurbishments.

Lyric Theatre

Bunbury, 2016

Kent Lyon Architect prepared a Conservation Management Plan to reinstate the Lyric Theatre, and documented the projects for construction. The works include structural repairs, new bathrooms and tuck-pointing the brick facade.

Bunbury Museum

Bunbury, 2013

Kent Lyon Architect produced the concept design for the internal redevelopment of the Bunbury Museum and Heritage Centre, including a modified layout of the display and functional areas, a new timber floor, electrical upgrade and new finishes throughout
